Local McDonald’s Restaurants have partnered with our hospital foundations to support fundraising for the new health-care complex.  From now until May 2009, 10¢ (ten cents) from every cup of coffee purchased at participating McDonald’s Restaurants (Niagara Falls, St. Catharines, Niagara-On-The-Lake and Port Colborne) will be contributed to the It’s Our Time . . . Campaign.   Our thanks to the Niagara McDonald’s owners for their generosity and support in helping us ensure that the health care needs of our families and friends can be met close to home! 

The “It’s Our Time…” Campaign is the NHS’ first region-wide health-care fundraising campaign to bring much needed health-care programs and services closer to home in Niagara. To develop these new facilities and improve all the NHS hospital sites, the Niagara Health System Foundation is working in partnership with each of the local hospital foundations to raise $40 million. The Campaign is centered on funding facilities and equipment to enhance regional health-care programs related to cancer, cardiac, chronic kidney and mental health diseases.
