History was made on Sunday, September, 20th, 2009 as 235 riders took to the scenic roads of Niagara Region to raise money for the Walker Family Cancer Centre.

They came with many goals  - some to honour the memory of a loved one who fought the battle of cancer, some to enjoy a day of cycling and some to face a personal challenge to cross the finish line.

With the support and generosity of local businesses, community organizations, volunteers, family, friends and co-workers we surpassed our goal for this inaugural event.  The Big Move Ride Committee is delighted to announce that an overwhelming $278,800 was raised after expenses for the Walker Family Cancer Centre.

A sincere thank you to everyone who supported The Big Move and we look forward to next year’s event, taking place on Sunday, September 12, 2010!
