The Campaign to raise funds for the New Digital Mammography Unit was launched on September 3rd, 2008 when Canadian Superstar, Bryan Adams, performed a benefit concert in St. Catharines. 
The concert raised an overwhelming $240,000 toward the Digital Mamography Campaign.

Breast cancer
is the most common cancer among Canadian women.

In 2009, an estimated 22,700 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer and 5,400 will die of it.

An estimated 437 Canadian women will be diagnosed with breat cancer every week.

Early detection through mammography in women over the age of 50 has been shown to reduce mortality by approximately 30%. 

Digital Mammography will provide women across Niagara with the best method of early detection of breast cancer.
