| 1. Where can I park when I come to the SCGH Foundation? We have recently arranged for two parking spots to be allocated to "Friends of the Foundation" in the Schmon Parking Lot, on the left side. Please feel free to utilize this space when visiting the hospital. 2. How can I make a donation to the St. Catharines General Hospital? All donations to the St. Catharines General Hospital can be made through the SCGH Foundation. The Foundation accepts Cash, Cheque, Money Order, Visa, MasterCard and American Express. Please make cheques payable to SCGH Foundation. Donations can be made in-person at the Foundation Office (Ground Level, Community Wing), by phone at 905-323-FUND (3863), by fax at 905-684-3226 or through the mail. Donations can also be made online by clicking here. 3. Will I receive a tax receipt for my donation? Yes, all donations over $10 will receive an official tax receipt from the SCGH Foundation. Tax receipts will be sent in the mail. 4. Can I direct my donation to a specific department in the hospital? Yes, donations can be directed to specific areas of the hospital, such as Palliative Care, Oncology, Operating Room and the Capital Equipment List. You can also direct donations to the New Building Fund and Regional Cancer Centre. Simply make a note on your donation card, or let the staff know when making your donation. 5. What will happen to the equipment purchased when the new hospital is built? All equipment purchased today at the St. Catharines General Hospital will be brought to the new healthcare facility. |
